No Health Without Mental Health

The Mental Health Initiatives from Americares grew out of years of disaster response efforts to restore and support health services in times of crisis. The dynamic page was built in collaboration with the Mental Health team and tells the story of the emergence of MHPSS services during disasters such as the Nepal Earthquake and Hurricane Maria.

The page also tells the story of the specific approach to Mental Health services that have grown from working with local partners in many different cultural, social and economic environments. It is the story of mental health rising.
