In 2023, we assembled several internal and external partners to develop a resource website for Free and Charitable Clinics in the United States who were joining a new initiative to evaluate and support quality healthcare for their constituents who lack health care access.
The process was lengthy and involved a lot of listening, questioning and assembling, creating and building content from each partner and then executing everything from a new logo to design and functionality of this targeted website.
What is the Story?
Free and charitable clinics are on the frontline of providing health care for those who have little or no health care access. The story was not just about this critical service, but the reality of being able to provide the highest quality care and a Roadmap of how to get there.
What should the story do?
It should convince the clinic that in spite of the challenges, this was an attainable goal and provide them with the resources and the opportunity to participate in the initiative. It had to show the value of committing staff time to gather the data about health outcomes and share it with the free clinic community.
Who is the audience?
The clinic administrators and staff. It would be a direct appeal to them.
What form could deliver the story?
A targeted web site with a call to action to take part in the Roadmap initiative, to commit the time necessary to gather the data about health outcomes and learn from that information how to constantly improve the quality of health care provided to the patients of the free clinics.
Result:
This website provided resources and other information for a first of its kind national partnership working toward delivering data-driven, equitable care in free and charitable clinics. The project involved several partners working closely together to build the "Roadmap" digital presence. We navigated a complex and rewarding path to create this online presence for a groundbreaking project. Roadmap is a resource and an advocate for clinic participation in a critical initiative.
